How to set shadow effect to section borders?

Hello,

is it possible to apply a shadow effect on the vertical borders of a section as on the example below (blue line on left and right sides) ?

Yes.

Give the body left and right margins 15px and light gray color. Give the section white bakground, a very slight light gray border and a shadow like this:
