Show/hide text toggle isn't working the way I'd like

Hello. I’ve been watching the video tutorial about how to show and hide text. I understand how the hide part works, but I get lost in the second part.

Continuing the discussion from Show/Hide Button to Hide Text:

I am able to get the nice sliding out effect on my text, but when I click to see less, it doesn’t slide back up the way I’d like it to. I watched the video a bunch of times but can’t seem to get that part right. What am I doing wrong?

Also, the second time I click and unclick, the text disappears completely!
