[RESOLVED] :) Transitions timings are defaulting to 500ms

Set one to happen over 6000ms
check web inspector
Chrome says 500ms

please fix

@vlogic, can you share your read-only link?

@McGuire, here is a clean example (bug persists):

https://preview.webflow.com/preview/transitions-default-to-500ms?preview=445f053bffafb1740f56b788bb1e7560

right-click on the title in the center photo section and choose > inspect.
screen cap in the first section.
I am using 6 seconds simply to make it visually obvious. All values return the default.

thanks

Aha! I have the solution. But first, let me complement you on your design skills. Even this sample you made looks amazing. I love the typography for what it’s worth. But I digress…

The problem is you’ve actually changed the wrong property in the transition. You changed the wait time until the NEXT transition. I believe what you’re looking for is to change the actual transition time.

To be fair, the UI there isn’t super intuitive. Both feature a stopwatch/clock icon and there’s nothing to immediately indicate the effect.

I have used transitions 1000’s of times - nuts! 3 days almost no sleep and in a rush and you can dial in an IQ of 0.1!

Thanks so much for setting me back on track @McGuire!
And thanks for the compliment on the sample.
– Webflow makes it easy (provided you use the right setting).
