The clean up function in the Styles Manager seems to be broken as well. I cannot get get rid off unused styles anymore. Once a new combo style was created it cannot be deleted anymore.
For example see the style “unused-style” in the Style Manager - although it is not associated to any page element it is not identified as superfluous and therefore cannot be deleted:
