Vertical slider?

I would like to make a vertical slider instead of horizontal like the news section on the right side of this page

I see how to work the horizontal slider but not sure if I can make it scroll the other way. If this isn’t the rout to go is there a way to put in a frame or a scrolling div box? I have quite a bit of text they would like to fit within a window and want it in a scrolling window.

Thanks for asking! I’ve ran into this myself in the past.

There isn’t a way to do this with the native slider component to my knowledge.
You may be able to do it with a containing div box with the properties overflow none & a fixed height, then place the elements inside that with an interaction: move elements up (50px?) on every click of the up arrow – it would be heavy trickery, so it may be easier to look for a third party plugin.

I really appreciate the response Jaidenleach. I was starting to get a feeling that was the case.
