2-box layout to horizontal scrolling on mobile (both landscape and portrait)

Sorry! No read link as we haven’t finished the mockup, but…

On desktop breakpoint (and higher), we plan to have some content placed inside 2 boxes. No horizontal scroll.

On mobile screens (particularly mobile portrait), we would like horizontal scroll on these boxes.

When someone hovers over one of these boxes, we plan to have the box and content slightly enlarged. (Sorry for the lack of terminology - we are amateurs here)

What’s our best way forward to create these boxes and this layout? Should we be using a grid? Something else?

Thank you!

Hi,

So, from what I’ve seen and in my own experience, I feel most people early on get more of a personal preference of what to use for layout; since there’s a lot of situations where you could accomplish the same/similar things with multiple layouts.

However, there’s some situation where you’ll find one layout is just generally easier to use then another.

I think this might be a good place for you to start. I think it will give you a better idea of what to use .
