Hi guys and girls!
Just a quick question re: 301 redirects.
When setting up a 301 to change a single page URL, do I first have to change the URL path in the designer, then set up the 301 redirect in the site settings?
When I attempt to setup the redirect (without first changing the path in designer), I get an error
“The old url is already a page on this project”
I’ve had a look through other topics but can’t find anyone who’s asked this question.
Just wanted to confirm, as I don’t want to make any moves that will damage my SEO efforts!
