301 wildcard to remove .php extension

#1

Hi,

I’m on the verge of launching a new webflow hosted website but i’ve got a slight issue.

The current/previous website uses the .php for ALL of their many pages. Is there way in webflow 301 to say redirect/remove all .php extensions?

Hi @derrick.dk

Thanks for posting about this.

Yes you can definitely do this with 301s in Webflow.

Here is the syntax:

/(.*)%.php → /%1

This will redirect anything with a .php extension — for example:

site.com/about.php would redirect to site.com/about

Hope this helps!
