Add Nested Class & Define New Image?

#1

Hi! Webflow novice here. I duplicated a slide on our project’s homepage and was able to successfully replace the contents in the container. However, when I changed the image in the new slide, it also changed the image in the original slide that I had duplicated. I need to replace one image without affecting the other… support said I need to add a nested class to the element class I’m styling the background image on, and then define a new image to use on the nested class. I have no idea how to make this happen. Any help/advice would be very much appreciated!

Great question, @Marymo83

To add a new nested class, you would need to do the following:

  1. Remove the nested class that is currently being used (i.e. Card - 1)
  2. Then, add your own nested class name (i.e. Card - 5)
  3. And finally, change the background image to your liking

The following video shows the above steps completed within your slider:

Hopefully this helps, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Best regards,
Micah
