Background image cliping

Hi!
I just made the move to webflow and I am seriously loving it! I’m still learning where all the tools are and actually can’t seem to clip images in my header. I’m used to doing it in css using the clip-path function, but can’t get it to work in webflow. I tried the skew transform, but it also skews the image.

The desired result is as in the image.

Here’s the read-only: https://preview.webflow.com/preview/louisphillipebastien?utm_medium=preview_link&utm_source=dashboard&utm_content=louisphillipebastien&preview=df28491deb7d43d8e580a8c78b768f12&mode=preview

Thanks for the help!

Can you share your read only link please?

Hi Aaron! I edited the main post!

Just figured out where to add custom code to webflow. My guess is: add custom code with the ‘clip-path’ I need on the .header class so it works that way.

I would like to know if there is a simpler way to do so before doing it that way.

That’s it for now.

Pro tip:

If you add an embed component to the canvas with the CSS style code you’d be able to see the changes right inside the designer.
