How large should a photo be to cover the whole background seen in an iMac 22 inch?

When I was working on my site, I used this as a reference for image size for full screen images:
For creating a link, simply place a link div as your div that will cover the screen OR place a link div inside the div that fills 100% of the parent div. If you run into trouble, please provide a read only share link.
