Best practice for responsiveness

Hi there,

I’m taking the #21dayportfolio challenge and have hit a stumbling block with my design:

Ultimately, on the mobile portrait view I’d like to have a two-column layout to switch to a vertical flow, is this best achieved by adding a grid to this container?

I’d love to hear from peeps on what their best practice is here. So I can learn from you whizz-kids.

Looks dramatic, dynamic and interesting - I don’t like the fact that each paragraph start with the (same) words: “Penny Black…” - and that makes it static and boring. Try to open each paragraph different.
