Cannot remove image overlay

Howdy!

I am running into an issue with the images of the special product category on the homepage: “Our Stars”.

It seems the template places some kind of black overlay with low opacity over my pictures. I want to remove this, but cannot find where it’s placed.

Anyone an idea?

Hi, welcome back

It seems like the black overlay comes from the original image. I compared the images (the one on the page and the other one in the collection list - the are both have that “black overlay”.
