Cant figure the Z index for this element

I am trynig to get this arrow to show on top of all the divs around it however even when i put it to z= 9999 it is still hiding, any ideas on how to make this work?

Hi @bwalls1992, thanks for the post. Has the design changed? I took a look at the messages pages, but it looks like the layout has change. I am happy to take a look again, if I am looking in the wrong place.

Apologies, i was playing with something, it is now back up, i have highlighted the arrow but i cant seem to get it to appear above all the other elements.

@bwalls1992 you could give that message list item some right padding and set the side arrow icon as a background image.
