I am trying to update my background video, but for some reason it shows the old one. I’ve tried renaming it, clearing my cache etc but it still shows the old video.
The background video in question is on the homepage hero banner - http://wearepug.webflow.io/
Is it a cache issue your end? Any ideas please?
Thanks,
Benji

Try un-publishing the site first.

Tried that this evening and I still have the same problem.
It’s as if it’s a caching problem on the Webflow side (@Waldo ).
I’ve tried everything but the problem persists.

Hi @76kid that does sound like an odd caching issue or bug. Could you please try the following?
Try adding a new background video element and upload the new video to that new element (try it on a separate page).
Please let me know if this solves the problem, if not, I’m happy to help further.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @Waldo
Just tried that on a separate page and it still shows the same video.
Must be a caching issue your end?
Thanks,
Benji

Hi @76kid
I checked wearepug.com URL and the new video seems to have uploaded there without an issue.
I am looking into the issue with the video not updating on the webflow.io URL with our team and hope to have a solution for you soon!
Thanks in advance for your patience with this.

Hi @76kid
I attempted to reproduce this behavior but was unsuccessful.
Can you please open the Designer in incognito mode with extensions turned off, and take a screenshot of the entire browser window with your console open?
I’m standing by for your reply.

@76kid I downloaded your video and uploaded it as a background video here: http://bg-videozz.webflow.io/
It looks to be working without any issues on my end. Did the video backgrounds have the same file name before by chance?

Nope this is wrong.
Please check the video I sent you. At the very very beginning (first couple of seconds) there is no yellowy static. But in this version and like all the previous I’ve uploaded to Webflow it’s still included.
