Changing Form Post Method in exported code?

I have created a single-page site for a non-profit cause, which contains a contact form which sends the entered data name, email, phone) to a single email address — or should. But as it’s a small site, and the non-profit client has their own hosting, I have exported the code to post on their site — but of course, the Form post method is still tied in to the Webflow hosting service which it would like me to use.

Is there an easy way to change, edit, or update that part of the form so it can simply post the results to the email address as planned? For a client who’s not being charged for this site, I find it a little frustrating that I can’t have the form send the email to their address, instead Webflow is asking for me to host the site there (for cost) just to be able to send out the email notifications.

There surely must be an easier solution? I’d appreciate help or guidance, if anyone has a suggestion.

Thanks so much!

Hi,
Did you found a solution ?

Hi @Ionut & @energidesign You can remove the form HTML and replace it with a third-party form code.

You can Google search for a third-party tool by searching something like “custom website form”

Hope this helps

I am sure I can do that — will it still retain the styling and CSS of the form as it’s all set up and ready to go? I think I need only the background form script to take the content from the form fields and email them to the address required, so it should be OK.
