CodeMode for Webflow - Chrome Extension

@thekevbot
Usecase is seeing code whie you design. :slight_smile:
Also editing text behind z-layers. Its always a pain to unhide rehide unhide rehide move remove move remove to make basic text edits when layers are involved as text elements are not always on top level of the canvas to edit.
Opening inspect panel and uncovering designer canvas is also always a pain it would be nice to only see the canvas html.

Definitely some interesting use-cases that would be pretty useful. Might be a bit tough to address with a Chrome extension, but would never say it’s not possible!

This was a long time coming, but I finally pushed an update that fixes a bug where CodeMode would break when using it on dynamic template pages.

To update:

  1. Start Google Chrome
  2. Click the vertical ellipsis icon on the browser toolbar
  3. Select More Tools > Extensions
  4. Click the Developer Mode toggle button on the right side of the header
  5. From there, you should see the Update button pop up

Happy coding!
