Collection page template but on URL without /collection-name/item

Same issue as [URLS for collection pages that don't include /folder/](https://this poster) with 0 replies

The collection pages tool is wonderful, as being the only true “page template tool” in webflow

But I want the URL of the collection page without the collection folder in the URL

Currently all collection pages get an url, like:

www.website.com/blogcollection/blogtitle

ideally I would want this as

. www.website.com/blogtitle

This does not seem possible?

Alternatives/workaround are both silly imho

  • Using 301 redirects
  • Creating a page with collection list set to 1 item

Yes - would love the ability to do this. The ability to dynamically create pages using the CMS templates are nice, but a major hinderance to have to have them live in the /collection folder.

For now the workaround is the redirects which is not ideal for seo purposes. Creating a page with collection list set to 1 item seems terrible.

Nothing new native to CMS template page design.

You may be able to use wildcard 301 redirect for this if you don’t mind the redirected URL, or you can use a reverse proxy setup.
