Conflict between notification bar and fixed navbar

#1

Hi there,

I have a problem: I am a german graphic designer and I have to regard the EU data protection regulation. I did use the code of @vincent. This is great.

The notification bar is at the top and has a z-index of 9999. But the fixed navigation seems to have a higher priority and covers the notification bar. I need to use the Block display setting, cause Vincents code will set the notification bar to Block:

Is there any one to help?

P.S. I am one of the Adobe Muse switchers. I discovered Webflow a few months before and now I will switch completely. I guess there will be many Muse users following. We feel some kind like migrants. :slight_smile:

Hey @MHGRAFIKDESIGN, welcome to Webflow!

Pace a div as a wrapper around the Cookie an Navbar divs. Make the wrapper be absolutely positioned at the top of the page and 9999 z-index. Then reset the Cookie and Navbar back to auto or relative positioning. This way the div wrapper will expand/contract to hold the cookie and nav on top of the page while keeping them siblings.

Hi all,
I am about to start my career as an internet marketer. So I created my first blog today but I am not able to find which theme is this blog using - https://www.dreamytricks.net
I have tried a lot but not able to find that. I know there must be many experienced guys out here which can help me in finding this theme.
What is it’s a custom theme? How can I replicate it easily?
Thanks in advance.

@vincent I did set up the notification bar and the custom code. But it is not working. The notification bar “Cookie” is not displayed, even in the incognito mode.

Many thanks again for your help.

That’s the code I did insert in the Footer Code:

<script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery-cookie/1.4.1/jquery.cookie.js"></script>

<script>
_$(document).ready(function(){
  if (!$.cookie('alert')) {
    $('.Cookie').show();
    var date = new Date();
    date.setTime(date.getTime() + 24 * 60 * 60 * 1000);
    $.cookie('alert', true, { expires: date });
   }
});
</script>

Hi @RoyalSingh

I think you’ll find that’s a Wordpress theme: https://builtwith.com/techonation.com

Let us know if you have any Webflow questions though…
