Hey,
So I was wondering whether it was possible to create a success message which pops up when a form is sent BUT which doesn’t make the main form disappear. I thought maybe @thesergie could help?
Thanks,
Arthur

Alternatively a way to turn off the success field entirely would be great - I can then trigger the success with an interaction.

Hi @Arthur
try clicking on the form status buttons in your settings panel when selecting a form. here is a screenshot of what i mean:

you can change what the form looks like in every state. hope this helps
Lol, @PixelGeek I know how to change the state. What I was asking was whether it was possible for the state to NOT change, or for the form itself to not disappear.

Hi @Arthur, not at the moment, but it is a good idea to have that option. We can take a look at this. If you have some extra time, could you describe this option in a wish list item: http://forum.webflow.com/category/feedback/wish-list
You can set your success states to be visible or not, but not the form visiblity directly, after submission. I hope this helps. If not, please let me know – I’m happy to assist further!
Cheers,
Dave
Ahh @cyberdave that’s fine - I will put it on the wishlist and hopefully it will be possible soon, it feels like a pretty fundamental flaw given that if you look at most sites the functionality is not like that…
Also the whole form error/success thing is a bit dodgy in terms of customisability generally…
