Credit Card info section required in Ecommerce?

Hello,
We are about to launch a free web store for our customers and survey participants. Is there a way to remove the credit card block from the Checkout form in Ecommerce and have them just confirm their selections and shipping address? Since the gear will be free we don’t want to ask for CC or other payment info.

I’m sure that’s an extremely unique scenario but wondered if it was possible.

Any news on this? This freature is highly required.

Maybe there’s a javascript workaround to autofill the creadit card number with our own? The problem is that the inputbox is in a iframe so it can’t be edited in javascript…
