Css grid different on live website than in Designer

UPDATE: I’ve disabled the read-only link for security purposes.

Hi,
I changed the footer of this site from columns with flex to Grid as I wanted a more streamlined layout. After I made it into the grid, it is different on the Live Site than the Designer. How can I make it look and function like the Designer?

The way it is in the designer (and how I would like it to show)

Hey there

the same with me. aligned div elementes in a 12X12 Grid yesterday and published the site - anything works fine. Today published again and all elements are alined at the left hand side of the screen and not within the css grid.

This occures only in the published version. within the designer, anything is fine and alined at the right position. Here is the read only link: https://bit.ly/2P5z17C

@webflow team could you please handle the bug, since I have to publish the site until tomorrow for one of my clients.

thx and br, Philipp

Hi @Darren_Cassar

Thanks for posting! There’s a known issue with Grid and symbols right now that causes this difference between the Designer and the live site.

If you unlink your footer symbol, then publish the issue should go away for now until our team can push a fix that allow grid+symbols to play well together.

I’ll report back as soon as we have a fix!

@HeadStarterz_GmbH It’s hard to say if this is the same issue. Can you please share your Read-Only link

I have to then when the bug gets fixed I have to relink everything?

It looks like this isn’t a bug but just a known limitation. We are tracking this now and should have full symbol support coming soon — You can read more on this here some limitations of Grid here @Darren_Cassar

Hi @Darren_Cassar

We actually just pushed symbol support for grid :tada:

You should be good to go with the footer symbol
