Current pseudo-class not appearing on main Nav links

I’m having a very strange issue where selecting the ‘current’ nav link isn’t bringing up the pseudo class ‘Current’, so I am unable to style this differently from the default blue colour.

If I’m correct, selecting this link while it is linked to the current page should display ‘Current’ next to ‘NavLink’, right?
