Designing for 3:2 screens / Surface Pro 6 breakpoint

Hi everyone,

When I view my website desktop design (roughly 16:9 ratio) on a Microsoft Surface Pro (3:2 ratio), the content nearly always runs off the screen either at the bottom, or sides.

If I reduce the size of fonts and spaces to fit on the Surface Pro, the desktop content is now too small.

How does everybody design for 3:2 ratio screens? Is there a particular breakpoint I can use to help with this?

Best regards, Terry.

For example, my Surface Pro 6 has a recommended resolution setting of 2736 x 1864px

Which is 3:2 aspect ratio.

And a recommended zoom of 200%.

How do people design for the Microsoft Surface at these kind of resolutions?

My content appears waaaaay too big for the surface pro.

Any ideas?

Hello again!

Does anybody have any advice about designing for the Microsoft Surface Pro? Or 3:2 screen ratios?

If not, no worries.

If I figure something out, I will come back and update my own question !!
