Drop Down Menu has choppy transitions

Hey guys,

Trying to create a dropdown menu with some smoothly moving transitions. For the love of me I can’t figure out how fix the choppy / jumpy end to the transition.

I believe it has something to do with the interaction telling the menu to go “display: none”, but if I don’t use the display none, the rest of the menu stops working…?

Thank you for any help on this issue… I’m sure there’s an easy fix that I’m just missing…

Remove margin-bottom from category-sub-items. Change it to padding-bottom.

On what div? I changed it to padding-bottom on “Category Item”, but I’m still getting that jumpy end to the transition.
