Dropdown styling

#1

Hi
I’m having trouble editing my dropdown link. The dropdown has a grey background but there doesnt seem to be a way to get rid of this. When I select ‘dropdown link’ it says background is transparent. I also want to get rid of the blue visited link and I don’t see how to do that either.
Thanks

I solved this by adding a combo class.

Glad you got it solved! However, you can simply delete the class first (Not Rename), then add a new one; after that add new styles. You shouldn’t need a combo class, unless you have 2 Dropdown Menus within the site. And even, in that case, when you change the base of 1, it will change the other too. Not the overall styles, but the size, display, positioning, etc.

For unique menus blocks, it’s best practice to give each it’s own class. Might add a few steps, but in the long run, it has simplistic benefits. Especially if you want to change the layout for one and not the other.

Take Care.
