Duplicated project but now new version isn't hosted, but old one still is? easy update / change? so new one is now hosted

I duplicated a project to improve on it while still needing the old version, but the new site isn’t hosted, while the old one I don’t need hosting for is…

Is it as simple as just cancel the old one, and setup a new one? Will there be any overlap billing to the customer I should know about and inform them of?

-OR- Do i need to email support to get this sorted out like this post mentions?

I’m confused why Webflow has a project duplicate button. I duplicated a project to make a big iteration to version 2. Now I want to host it at my custom domain, like the original. So now I have to buy a whole new hosting plan, and cancel the other one? That doesn’t make any sense, especially if its a duplicate.
