Dynamic linking can't find blog post URLs

Hey guys, would really appreciate your help with a problem I’m having on my wife’s site.

In short, I have a collection of recent blog posts on the homepage.

I’d like each collection item (blog post item) to pull in the appropriate URL for the blog post.

However, when I go to link settings and click on “Get URL from blog posts”, the only field I can select is “Author”. Then it offers me three options all of which are social profiles.

Can someone tell me what Im doing wrong? What do I have to do so each collection item pulls the correct blog post URL?

Good afternoon @Chrisbliss, welcome to the Webflow Community Forum first off.

As for your issue, the only time you would use the URL is if you are pulling content from an actual link field.

To link the current blog post you would use the purple page icon just to the right of the link icon in your image.

I am attaching a quick video (not really), but it shows you what you can do to fix your issue.
