Was really hoping to see beta access by now.

Can’t hold off any longer on getting a shop up and running for a few clients and was hoping to be able to build it in Webflow for them, as their new sites are being built in Webflow.

Hopefully we can get some sort of estimated beta launch date? Would help to have something to tell clients.

I recon it will be a few months yet before we get beta access. #justafeelingihave Not sure your clients will wait that long.

Yeah, I’m already working on other solutions for them. Some newer clients might have more patience.

I suppose you can only ask them. Good luck. Will be a shame however if you have to rebuild at a later date, but knowing webflow it will be super duper and easy to do

Exactly - that’s the thing, I know they won’t want to have to pay again to have their shop rebuilt and migrated. And knowing Webflow, it will be a better experience than the current solutions out there.

Oh well - I will continue to wait as patiently as possible for an update regarding beta access!

Fingers crossed it will be soon. Good luck with the projects would love to see them when your finished.

When you consider all of the plugins that can be added, then yes, Shopify is the best platform. So that’s not a boast, that’s a fact.
I don’t understand why there is no current information on how to incorporate Webflow within Shopify. It seems to me this would be a match made in heaven.

Thanks a couple of really good tutorials on YouTube @kevinschmidt

I guess this (shopify integration only) would turn off alot of agencie’s customers to the idea of e-commerce, the price of webflow’s cms plan + shopify would be pretty steep for an entry level solution, which is what most need.
But i get you, shopify’s offerings are pretty much one of a kind when we talk about plugins and integration of social platforms such as facebook shop that translate into instagram items tags and the beta in-app instagram instant purchase.
For the needs of most designers in webflow, a simple slick solution is much more needed at the moment, and sincerely i feel like its a perfect first step towards something bigger, their plan for the future is already pretty impressive.

My intent would be to use Webflow to create templates, snippits and blocks, and transfer them to Shopify. I don’t see how that would add to the cost.
I’m wondering how hard it would be to do the transfer and what all would be involved.

This is really such an interesting news, a lot of digital marketing specialist will surely invest on webflow.

And pagination would be good!

I’m not sure but aren’t templates handled all in liquid in shopify?
maybe if you’re pretty knowledgeable in this, passed that, there is some html and css. You would have to check this out.

Im sorry to hear that (about iDeal), maybe get in touch directly with support after launch? Seems to me it is not just an issue for Dutch shops but all shops that would be selling to the Netherlands.

Also it would maybe be possible if you hire one of the amazing webflow experts  and implement it only in yours, ask them once they have access to the code!

Thanks. Liquid does not handle CSS or Javascript. That is what I want to use Webflow for.

I hope Webflow Ecommerce allows you to connect to SAP. Anyone know anything about that possibility?

Just lined up a new client that is flexible enough to wait for Webflow Ecommerce to materialize and is a great match for the features at launch. Can’t wait to see what will be possible!
