Empty list and paragraph elements in rich text block

I duplicated a page that had a rich text block set up so that I can reuse the layout and styling. I’m trying to edit the rich text block but I’m left with some empty list elements and paragraph elements that I’m unable to erase. Everything I’ve tried either deletes all of the content from the rich text block or doesn’t delete anything at all.

I’m having the same issue as well.

I have the exact same issue. Empty list items that cannot be edited or removed. From what I have researched there is no way to delete an element inside a RTE. One person suggested clicking inside the element and then deleting it. I tried but I was never able to click inside the element.
