I am extremely new to webflow and I’ve been trying to go through Ran’s class. I’m using his built file and learning how to make it responsive. I was having the same problem as you and tracked down a solution in the thread below. basically he said to put the Body layer to Overflow: hidden. I went and did that to all the break points and it worked. Hope this helps.
