Google not indexing password protected site

Hello, I need help with my SEO specialists request.

My customers site is password locked with a chat set up so we can give whoever requests and invite code access.

We also want the site to index and be found organically on google. However password locking the site stops the site from being indexed with google.

We have tried a folder based password structure. However this negates the impact of the landing page video we have implemented.

Is there any way to have the site indexed behind the site password lock?

Google or other search engines would not crawl password protected pages. Only web pages which are available public would be crawled and indexed (This is very logical as well).

The best idea here is to create a “Welcome page + enter now button” (Leads to password page). Do not block the home page either.
