Help Implementing a Feature: Open link in new window with a specific width

#1

Hello, Thanks for reading.

I am trying to implement an anchor to an external URL on my "Recent Works" page such that when it is clicked, the link will open in a new window at a certain width. The reason for this is because I would like to have an easy way for visitors of my website to see each of my project sites at different layout sizes (full size desktop, mobile, etc) with just the click of a button, without them having to manually resize their browser.

I've googled around a bit and have tried a few javascript functions that I came across but truthfully I am not very good at that kind of thing and was unsuccessful.

I have looked into modal popups ( https://webflow.com/blog/how-to-create-a-pop-up-modal-in-webflow) but I'm not sure that this is what I'm looking to do exactly.

Does anyone have any ideas about how I might achieve this? Or any better ideas to achieve a similar goal? Is this a normal thing for someone to want to do? Am I a crazy person?
