Hover interaction late (kinda fails)

Hi there …
i have a strange hover latency
when you hover over navbar phone link icon should twirl
and it does but from the second try
Does anybody can help me to solve this?

Also i have tabs on website, i’m thinking how i can add a close button
so visitors could close a tab completely

The phone icon works for me on my browser. It twirls immediately for me. As far as tabs, which section are you referring to?

That navbar phone icon … in my case (and a few other ppl) it twirls only on hover out
and from secon-third attempt but expected to work from first and on hover on & hover out
