Hi, I was trying to help a user here : http://forum.webflow.com/t/placing-images-correctly/4253/9 and noticed you're not allowed to switch pages in preview mode (got a system message).
On another hand, I often feel the need to share my sandbox project to ask for help, but as I can't link to a specific page, I just don't.
Public links represent an invaluable tool to help users. If you've been working with HTML CSS you just know that it's almost impossible to fix an issue if you don't see the whole context. Weblfow is another layer on top of HTML CSS, so you really need context.
So, the need to link to a specific page is something I feel very often. I'd like a simple "Grab a public URL" button on page level, not site level, with a few options: "extend sharing to whole site" is the one coming to mind immediately.
Also, when I worked on someone's public site and solve their issue, this would be awesome to have to possibility to propose said revision... and here I admit this can be a difficult feature come up with. At the very least, an option to "show this version" back to the community, on the form of a frozen copy of the original public link, with visual indicators pointing to what's been modified in the panels and preview zone.
This would help users' projects to be successful, and by that I really mean this would help Webflow to be even more successful.
Thanks for listening!
