How to link within the website before connecting a domain?

#1

I’m currently working on transferring our website over to webflow. There are certain parts of the website (i.e. anchor on a different page, CMS generated pages) that need to be linked to via an actual link (as opposed to selecting one of the page).

This is a bit of a hassle, or it will be when I connect our domain and will have to change all the links to reflect the new domain.

Is there no easy way to do this so that I don’t have to go through and change all links, or taking our entire website down for a little bit to make sure people don’t get sent to dead/incorrect links?

You can use relative links (external link in the link popup). They don’t work in the designer, but will on publish.

/somepage#someanchor

So as long as the page slug does not change your link will work. You can always add redirects as well when needed.
