How to Make Lightbox Modal Open Above Fixed Nav

Hi all,

I have a fixed nav on my website which covers the top of the lightbox modal when an image is clicked on and the slide show opens. Is there a way for it to open over the nav? At the moment the nav covers the top of the images and the close icon.

Try setting your z-index of your lightbox to be higher than 1000

Thanks for the reply. The issue is that there is a nav bar and some other elements with a higher z position as they are supposed to show above the lightbox thumbnails. When I change that to above the nav bar and other elements, the thumbnail appears over them. I wish for the light box modal to be over everything when it opens up. Is there a way to apply styling to this modal rather than the the actual thumbnails?
