How to purchase and then use a Webflow template in an external website?

Background:
I am trying to contract an outsource company to build me a website from scratch.

Since we are building an MVP. They offered us a plan to build the website by a single backend engineer by starting from a template.

Question:
I see that the Webflow templates are really cool. I was wondering whether we can purchase the webflow template and then after some editing, export the template out of the webflow site, and then let the backend engineer figure out the rest of the jobs?

Does that sound like a plausible plan?

You can do that but all CMS functionality will be absent in the export and you’ll have to purchase at least 1 month of the lite plan for $24 to export your site. https://webflow.com/pricing/designer-plans

Why not just hire a webflow designer like myself to build the whole thing in webflow? Does it need to be hosted on your server?
