Hyphenation via CSS

Hi there,

I am a German Designer, and unfortunately the German language has very long words, which requires hyphenation, at best automatically.

After research here in the forum I found this CSS snippet which has to be pasted in the Custom Code section for the head and set the language to “de”:

<style>
.h1
 {
  word-break: break-word;
  -webkit-hyphens: auto;
  -moz-hyphens: auto;
  -ms-hyphens: auto;
  -o-hyphens: auto;
  hyphens: auto;
}

</style>

I tried it with h1, but it does not work. In my sample website you will see a word “Musterabteilungsleiter”, which should be splitted. But it doesn’t, either in the Designer or in the published site.

Who can help? Many many thanks from a frantic German designer…

It worked now. But the hyphenation of the language is beeing ignored and there are no hyphens. Any solution? :pleading_face:
