Inset border wrapping around sections on a page

Hi all,

Question regarding the ‘stroke’ in the attached image (mock up). I need to create an inner border around some parts of my website, this will go down over the top section and image and then around some text beneath it before wrapping around below it, all one continuous line.

Have tried creating a div block that sits inside the body that has a border and then placed sections within that div block, but can’t get the border to sit in (40px) from the edge of the screen and then still have the image going full width.

Any suggestions on how this can be done? would be much appreciated.

It seems to work fine if you add 40px padding (top, left, right) to either the section or the image?

@StuM, I get a 40px wide border yes, but it pushes the image in as opposed to having a stroke/line run over the top of the image as in the mockup above… plus there is no line around the top section, its just a thick border…

Unless I am missing something you’re doing in the border settings?
