HI I need help! I have been trying to add show-hide feature with some buttons and content to my project. it has been working fine for days. Then when I copied and pasted custom tab buttons from one page to another my interactions no longer work. I tried to re-do interactions and every time I do – it crashes and goes to a general blank web page.
Any suggestions – this completely frustrating – A to have to re-do all interactions and B I can’t get them to work and C i have a deadline tomorrow.
Don’t copy elements from page to page, you can’t add elements on a new page and grab the same actions.
Simply use the same classes from page to page, then add the interaction manually.
When adding interactions, keep them, but when you want it to affect another element, make sure you can click it in the designer or use bottom navigator + arrows to select elements.
I hope this makes sense. If not, I’m here to help you if you need. I’ll take at look at your site, but I don’t know exactly what you’re trying to do. Maybe share 1 element that needs an interaction, and I’ll help ya out.
Yes, it is very clear that these interactions do not work from page to page.
However, this is what is happening to me that I can’t even re-establish links.
Image 1 – Create account interaction to hide tab button on click. When I click the hidden eyeball to hide button div, my screen automatically displays image 2 and then crashes.
Any way we can stop that crash? And then I can re-establish links?
Insights??
Thanks -
Deanna

Okay… first if that interaction has the “red warning”, I would delete it and recreate it. Now if you create an interaction on that page, don’t delete the element before you “Apply to another Affected Element”. This is a caveat, because I’ve tried to simply click “replace” but sometimes it doesn’t work honestly. Have tried to apply it to another element on the main screen?
Now the image 1 - you’re talking about the ‘Sign In’ button 1 right? I don’t see a hidden eyeball.
