I am looking for some help and guidance on the following problem:
I am creating an interactive map of the united states, and would like a map where when the user hovers over a particular state, the state is able to have a hover effect. I have individual images of each state, but when I add the images to Webflow, the state has a square field (background transparent). The problem is that there are portions of the image that are technically blank, but still trigger the images hover interaction. Because of this, it may be possible in my current situation to be hovering over California, but still triggering Nevada due to the image transparent background that exceeds the states shape (for example).
Is there a way for me to restrict the area of selection?
An example of what I am trying to achieve would be something like https://www.japan-guide.com/
thank you for any help!
