Issue with cached Collection Items

Dear Community,

We have built a collection for a site we created and manage. A bit of background - is used to showcase working dogs that are for sale.

The issue we’ve received complaints about is that if we then update the item (with new photos or YouTube links) that people don’t see this as the page is cached. Each item could have multiple updates in lead up to sale.

Looking for a way to either force a refresh of the page, or perhaps give a unique identifier to the URL that includes a timestamp, so that the new updated item is delivered when they navigate from the catalogue.

Any help will be appreciated.

You need a little bit of custom code for this.

<meta http-equiv=“Pragma” content=”no-cache”>
<meta http-equiv=“Expires” content=”-1″>
<meta http-equiv=“CACHE-CONTROL” content=”NO-CACHE”>

Just paste the code in the head of the pages you want to avoid caching and you should be good to go.

Thanks Aaron! That’s what I’ve been looking for. Appreciate the quick reply.
