Issue with responsive video embed on webflow.io domain

Hello everyone,

I was looking for solutions to make a background video responsive I found a snip code of @cyberdave as answer to a similar question in the forum.

I’ve tried it and it works very well in both, the webflow designer and the preview mode, but when I publish it in the webflow domain (webflow.io) you can see the image but the video doesn’t play… Any idea why that might be?

I put my project here in case it helps you:
flowgy - read mode

I hope you can help me. Thanks a lot!

@Sandok Can you please fix your read-only link?

Hi @Matthias,

of course! Here you have the new one:

Flowgy – Read Mode

I’m using this code snip and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t…

<video autoplay playsinline loop style="max-width: 100%; max-height: 100%; display: block; overflow: hidden;" poster="https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/5cd05ce4c44956f23650c98c/5e7748e34c71bd81f64470fc_Poster_Report_Web-Video_1920x1080px.jpg">

</video>

Hey @Matthias,

did you get a chance to check out the link? Any idea why the videos don’t work once the project is published?

Thanks, mate!

@Sandok not yet, which video exactly and please share the link of your published project.

Hi, all the videos on the page (www.flowgy.webflow.io/how-it-works).

All of them are an html embed and for some reason they only work spontaneously once published.
