Issue with viewing site on Windows Surface Pro 4

Hello All,

I am working on a site and everything is looking good, but I looked at it on a Windows Surface Pro 4 and the site is not recognizing it as a tablet and when viewed in portrait mode everything looks out of place. What is the solution? Is there a way to force the site to view the device as a tablet?

I’m new here and have been racking my brain trying to figure this out… Any help is appreciated!

Hey,

Webflow break points aren’t device specific. They are screen size specific. The design issues you are having will also happen on laptops with screens that are smaller but bigger then the 991px break point.

You can try designing the site with that in mind. Using the Webflow container can help with that. On my 27" screen the line length of your text is very long.

I know it doesn’t solve the issue but hope it helps.

Thanks, Alex!

I adjusted the site to fit within the webflow grid. I will check it out on the tablet this evening and see if this resolves my issue.

I used all of the proper webflow containers and everything looks great now.

I suppose now I have to ask is there a way to use a larger grid system like 1200 px and still have things look good on all devices?
