Limit of 20 (CMS plan) or 40 (Business plan) collections

#1

Dear all,

I’m setting up a website for a store.
Although they won’t be selling through the website, they would like to show the collection they have.

Now, it are more then 40 categories, so I would need more then 40 collections (each catagory would be a collection, where they can add items themselves)
f.i.

collection 1 = pizzas

Item 1 = Pizza 1
field 1 = name
field 2 = picture
field 3 = description
Item 2 = pizza 2
field 1

collection 2 = burgers

Item 1 = burger 1
field 1 = name

collection 3 = salades

Now I have more then 40 of these collections.

How can I solve this with limitations of max 40 collections in business plan.

Best regards
Tom

Hello @STAPPS

Collections don’t work like that. Using the example you just gave you’ll only have 2 collections, one for products and another one for categories and you can reference the category into the product one using the 'reference field' .

Let me know if this helps.

I figured it out.
I have a collection called “categories” and a collection called “products”.
I created a reference field from the products to the categories so that I can bring each product under the correct category.

Now when I create a page for the first category, I can have it filled with products only with the reference to this category by means of the filters.

Thank you for the tip Aaronocampo
