Linking with the same id for different views

Hi, question about anchor links on desktop vs mobile -

I have created some alternative sections for mobile than I have on desktop, but want to be able to link to the same section on each view from an external site. Is this possible?

Here is my site Read-Only: https://preview.webflow.com/preview/mc-impact-report?utm_medium=preview_link&utm_source=designer&utm_content=mc-impact-report&preview=514ac8d26b6f16a44743e36f0b6d4201&mode=preview
([how to share your site Read-Only link][2])

Only with a different hash. ID’s have to be unique in HTML.

Is there any work-around for this? The corresponding sections just won’t be navigable?

Wrap both elements with the ID you link to. Let the children display the right content based on viewport. You have to work within the rules of HTML.

Ok. I hear you - I’m just not exactly sure how to do that for the sections that I’ve created. Can you wrap multiple sections together? Thank you so much for your help!!

Webflow does not allow sections within sections probably because of nav code in the core JS. You can create structure with using divs but you might loose the scrollto behavior. That I have not tested.
