I noticed recently an up arrow at the bottom of my live site that is a log in to the Webflow editor. I believe its creating a scroll bar on the width of the site, but am not positive. Is there a way to remove it to test?

That tab shows up if you have logged into your Webflow CMS in the past. We add a cookie to your machine that shows that tab so you can easily get back into the CMS.
If you want to test your site without that tab, try using an incognito mode browser window or clear your cookies.
