Lottie plays great in previewer but not on published site

I made a custom page-loading lottie animation. Everything works perfectly in the previewer, but when I publish the page, it is choppy, stays on screen for too long, and does not fade out. What am I doing wrong here?

Not sure. Just tested MS Edge (Version 91.0.864.48 (Official build) (64-bit)) on Win 10 Pro and had no issue.

You may be experiencing an issue based on your particular machine, browser, and version. If you share that info I can spin up a quick test to see if I can duplicate the problem and we could go from there.

Hi @webdev, thank you so much for your response. I’m on Chrome Version 91.0.4472.101 (Official Build) (64-bit). I tried it on Edge and you’re right, it works perfectly - just like it does on the previewer. However, it still gives me trouble in Chrome.
I changed the animation to a different file and made it only on the home page. In Chrome, it is still freezing on the first frame (for a while), then cutting out instead of fading out. After it loads the homepage, if I then click the “home” tab or the logo, it works as expected. As soon as I go to another tab and then click “home” again, it reverts back to the choppy/glitchy animation. I’m simultaneously glad and perplexed to see it working perfectly in Edge while it fails in Chrome. Let me know if you end up with the same experience in Chrome that I am. Thanks!

Update: I discovered that it works fine in incognito mode in Chrome but not regular mode. Hopefully that helps pinpoint the issue.
