Modal in CMS not relative to viewport

Hi fellow Webflowers! I’ve run into an issue and am hoping someone can help me out.

I have a modal within a CMS collection, set to position: fixed. Obviously, the modal should overlay the whole viewport, but it’s only overlaying the Collection List Wrapper area. I’ve set all parents to position: static, even added !important to the CSS, but I’m still getting this behavior. Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Hey @jenevineb, right now the modal is relative of your collection list. You can start by setting it to position absolute and work your way from there.
